Match Report

Whilst this morning's 3-1 reversal to AFC Willenhall was disappointing, I've had time to put it into perspective. Whilst it may seem like we're on a poor run, the boys should remember that they're playing against some of the best teams in the Walsall League and, most weeks, giving them a game. Hopefully, by the time next season starts, we'll have found our level. In the meantime, with the boys help and attention, Suk and I will do our best to improve them as players

Daniel - one save out of the top drawer and a lot of the mundane done extremely well. Great kicking once again

Patrick - looked relieved to be moved back to Right Back, after a stint in CMF! Did both really well

Philip - another good game for Philip. Not daunted by a tricky winger, he more than held his own

Jakey - more tigerish tackling and broke up the play well in what was a tough test

Noah - beat his man a couple of times and put in some dangerous crosses. Also helped out in defence

Will - looked shattered in the second half, having covered a lot of ground. Did well when we looked to counter Willenhall

Harrison - a really lovely second half, when he tested the Willenhall defence. Unlucky not to have grabbed a goal

Jayan - like H, he had a great second half, with things just not falling his way

Ethan - whilst he didn't quite hit the heights of last week, he gave it everything. Not the easiest of mornings to be a Midfielder

Max - great to see Max grabbing our goal, being in the right place at the right time. Looking better as we get his game time up

Louis - calm on the ball, tigerish in the tackle, Louis never stopped running all morning. A fantastic display and a well deserved MOTM.

A tough morning for the boys, but one I know they'll bounce back from. COYL
