Match Report

The Lions last 5 games record reads, Played 5 Won 4 Drawn 0 Lost 1 For 28 Against 13........I'd say that represents VFM for our Spectators! This morning's game was certainly high on entertainment, with the Lions of Four Oaks beating their counterparts form Pelsall 7-4 with goals from Mak (3), Harrison (2), Will and Max.

Daniel - let down by his defence early on, but kicked well and safely handled everything else thrown at him

Paddy - up against a really quick winger, but stuck to his task and eventually won the battle

Jakey - a couple of uncharacteristic slips from our CB early on but, along with the rest of the defence, recovered superbly and eventually got the better of the Pelsall attack

Philip - continued his recent good form with a great performance at Left Back and CMF. Really calm on the ball. Improving with every game

Louis - started with in CMF, but moved into defence to provide some extra bite. Earned yet more praise from an opposition Manager

Max - another game under his belt and another goal. Did really well and, being slightly critical, should maybe have had a couple more

Ethan - a really strong performance from Ethan. Battled for every ball, got a couple of assists and grew stronger as the game went on. Well done Ethan

Will - see above. A great performance, capped with a brilliantly headed goal.

Harrison - outstanding. At the heart of all of our attacks and simply unplayable at times. Most definitely in the running for MOTM

Mak - like H, he was unplayable. Some great link up play with Harrison, Will and Ethan and, to edge the MOTM award, a hat-trick

Whilst we went through a mid-season dip, the boys have really shown their spirit in the last half a dozen games and deserve all the success they get. Well done boys.
